Dave Ritchie Smith
Scottish Singer Songwriter now living in New Plymouth in New Zealand. Dave's first band was a melodic rock band called Lonesome Crow who had a little success in Scotland, next he started Kiss The Clown with Andi Watson. After the band split up Dave and Andi still wrote and recorded songs together and although Dave had always been interested in the recording process it was at this time that he started recording on his own. After moving to New Plymouth together with his friend Anand Rose they started a monthly singer songwriter's night, from this they have taken the best of the years artist and recorded one song from each and released an annual compilation album. Dave is currently working on his album that is he is co-producing with fellow Singer song writer Andy Bassett. The album will be released late 2009. So whether it's writing, performing or recording Dave's passion for music is undeniable
