It had been an exciting few months at the Real TArt Gallery. A generous grant from the TSB Community Trust has seen the Gallery undergoing renovations since late August, with a workshop space for community art classes being built in our former reception area as well as a new Gallery upstairs. The extensions were designed by the team at Boone Goldsmith Bhaskar Brebner and constructed David Fabish Ltd, with the electrical work being carried out by Murray Gush from Elect -Tel. It was wonderful watching the gallery transform over the last few months, the team at the Real TArt Gallery would like to extend their warmest regards and thanks to Dave, Colin, Paora, Murray and everyone else involved for the fantastic job they did. It was wonderful working with you all! 

The new spaces were officially opened to the public on Thursday 10 December, Gallery patron Michael Smither was on hand to cut the ribbon with the TSB Community Trust's Colleen Tuuta. The spaces were positively received and generated a fair amount of excitement!
